To the anon that asked about corsets, I've been wearing them for a couple of years and sometimes when I don't have help I hook the ends of the lace on a door knob and start walking forward, then I stop to adjust with my hands and repeat until I'm nice and tight or when it just wont let me move forward anymore.

It takes practice! Pull it out to your sides and back and keep adjusting where your hands are and keep tugging wow that was the worst description of it ever but you get the idea?

How do you deal with being ignored? I feel like crap because I just want some attention from the person that means the most (besides my family) to me right now, and they're ignoring me. I feel like an asshole prodding, I've prodded enough and it's clear that they are just ignoring me. How does one deal with that?
